- The Department of Business Administration organizes the Master of Business
Administration in cooperation with members of other Departments of the
University, as well as some external faculty members and professionals.
- The MBA’s main objective is to provide an answer to the increasing need for
training in today's labour market. The Programme provides the students
(professionals with different academic backgrounds who wish to pursue a
career in business) with a solid training in the business administration area. We
train high-level professionals, able to face the challenges of an increasingly

professionals with some experience in the business or public sector who wish to
improve their training. The minimum professional experience required is three
years but the Academic Committee will exceptionally consider the admission of

The MBA lasts for twelve months, beginning in September and ending in
September of the following year. Lectures are spread over three terms, in
addition to a short refresher course that takes place in September. The first
term goes from October to December, the second one from January to March,
and the third one from April to June. Total course load is 1,510 hours (60.4

and third terms. There is also the possibility to enrol and study one or several
modules exclusively and obtain the certificates for having participated in these

In order to obtain the Master’s degree it will be necessary:
- To complete the modules successfully and, in addition.
- To elaborate a Business Plan and present it to a board of examiners, with
members specialized in different areas.
