Luz Casal (born November 11, 1958 at Boimorto, Galicia) is a Spanish pop singer. She grew up in Asturias, took singing, piano and ballet classes, and moved to Madrid to pursue a career as a musician.

Chambao - Ahí estás tu


Chambao is a flamenco-electronic band originally from Málaga, Andalucia, Spain, known for a 'flamenco chill' sound that fuses flamenco sounds and palos (forms) with electronic music. The name of the band is taken from an improvised form of beach tent that is constructed as a means of sheltering from the wind and sun.

Niña Pastori - Amor de San Juan


Niña Pastori is a Spanish flamenco singer (cantaora). She was born María Rosa García García in San Fernando (Cádiz) on 15 January 1978. The youngest of five siblings and only daughter of a military man (José) and gypsy flamenco singer La Pastori, she started very young her artistic career. With only six years she accompanied her mother in the flamenco tablaos of her neighborhood, "el Boquete". A year later she won a contest in San Fernando, and since then she has been supported by numerous artists that saw a big potential in the "Niña" (Spanish for child).

Spanish pop duet Estopa, formed by brothers José and David Muñoz, made an impressive debut with the release of their self-titled debut album, released by BMG-Ariola. The group became a top-selling act in less than a year, playing a mixture of flamenco/pop and rumba/rock .  

Alejandro Sanz; Quisiera ser


Alejandro Sanz, born Alejandro Sánchez Pizarro on December 18, 1968 in Madrid, Spain, is a Spanish pop/ballad musician. The second son of María Pizarro Medina from Alcalá de los Gazules, and Jesús Sánchez Madero from Algeciras, Sanz began playing guitar at the age of seven and composing his first songs three years later. After moving to Moratalaz from the neighborhood of Pueblo Nuevo at age 16, he began attending management classes. At the same time, he recorded his first album.
